Unitron

Unitron was founded in 1964 and is now an independent member of the Sonova group of companies. Its corporate headquarters is located in the Kitchner-Waterloo region of Ontario, Canada, though it has offices in 19 countries in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Unitron offers a full range of products ranging from the ultra tiny Micro CIC product up to traditional BTE instruments offering ample power for even the most profound hearing losses.

North Platform

Unitron’s newest and most feature-packed hearing aids offer the ultimate in hearing aid performance.  Products are available in all technology and price points, from economy instruments all the way up to the premium Pro level instruments.  Some features which are included in Unitron’s product line-up are:

SoundNav
SoundNav automatic program is far more in tune with a patient’s life. It automatically and seamlessly identifies and classifies seven different environments, four of which are specifically focused on conversations.

Sound Conductor
Sound Conductor dynamically balances the appropriate features to deal with each unique listening scenario identified by SoundNav. It does this while simultaneously ensuring that the sound quality stays natural.

SpeechZone 2
SpeechZone 2 automatically engages in extremely difficult background noise, using spatial binaural processing to provide 360° speech detection so patients can clearly hear talkers from any direction.  Patients automatically enjoy clearer conversations in the toughest listening situations. Enabled by binaural spatial processing, SpeechZone activates maximum directionality, really zoning in on speech when the hearing instruments determine that speech is coming from the front in a noisy environment. Patients don’t need to adjust their hearing instruments.

Moxi Now:  Behind-the-ear Canal Receiver Technology (CRT).

Moxi Now is the latest addition to Unitron’s design-focused line up of RIC hearing instruments, including RedDot product design award winners, Moxi Kiss and Moxi Fit.  World’s smallest wireless RIC joins the most design-focused lineup on the market
Moxi Now measures just 20.2mm tall and 6.5mm wide. And at 39% smaller volume than Unitron’s next smallest RIC, and 14% smaller than the next closest competitor, Moxi Now delivers amazing comfort, beautiful aesthetics and intuitive functionality in the smallest wireless RIC in the world. Leveraging Unitron’s patient-centric design philosophy, Moxi Now was designed by putting patient needs at the center, offering the discretion wearers crave, in a fully automatic, high performance, wireless hearing instrument they can “set and forget” and wear comfortably all day long.

It is the world’s smallest hearing aid in its class, and Moxi Now does not compromise on performance. Built on the North sound processing platform, it combines the strength of three trailblazing features, SoundNav, Sound Conductor and SpeechZone™ 2, allowing patients to happily participate in every conversation while experiencing natural sound and comfortable listening.
