AUDITORY PROCESSING EVALUATIONS

Auditory+Processing+Disorder

Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) is when the brain does not process auditory information efficiently or correctly

When to consider auditory processing testing:

  • High amount of “what’s” or “huh’s” despite normal results on standard hearing test

  • Difficulty understanding speech when there is background noise despite normal results on standard hearing test

  • Listening fatigue

  • Difficulty keeping up with ongoing conversation

  • For children, below age level reading or spelling scores without explanation from other identified learning disorder

  • Normal cognitive function

  • Normal hearing results

Get protected BEFORE its too late…

With today’s high noise levels, hearing protection is the BEST way to keep your hearing from getting worse. Whether you are a musician, work in a noisy environment, use power tools at home, need protection from wind noise while motorcycling, or do any hunting or shooting, we recommend hearing protection to prevent further hearing loss.

Protect your hearing now, because once it’s gone, you can’t get it back!
